Who are we raising money for?

The most important part of why we fundraise is who we are raising the money for...

Did you know that ANYONE can have a stroke, even children and younger people. And this year I have chosen to continue our involvement with the Stroke Society, a charity dedicated to providing "high quality, up-to-date stroke information for stroke patients, their families and carers" as professed on their website.

AIM: Our target is to raise £1000 over the course of this academic year for the charity.

HOW: I am organizing a number of charity events dedicated to raising funds, watch this space for more information!

This really is a fantastic charity to be associated with, the funds the Lacrosse club raise can really help people who need it.

To find out more information about the Stroke Society itself visit: http://www.stroke.org.uk/

As you can see from last years 'End of Season Meal' we are a huge club.
And we can use the high number of people to volunteer and really make a
difference to our chosen charity.
